Westermo business entity
Westermo delivers reliable industrial data communication solutions. Simply, its solutions enable data to be transferred on fixed and wireless networks. Reliable data communication is imperative for digitalization where different systems interconnect to enable control and monitoring of various applications and equipment. These solutions target the market for infrastructure and various industrial sectors.
Offering and market
The need for better and more reliable data communication is growing as digitalization proliferates, and more devices and functionality interconnect. Simultaneously, many industrial operating environments are harsh, and the impact when networks go down can be catastrophic when involved in fundamental societal infrastructure like rail and power networks. Westermo’s strength lies in creating products and solutions for robust and secure data communication in demanding environments, where nothing can go wrong.
Solutions address the market for infrastructure and various industrial sectors. Research reports estimate the global market for industrial network solutions is worth some 15 billion SEK, and has generated growth of over 10% per year over the long term.
