A clear strategy generating long-term value
Ependion’s group-wide strategy is founded on decentralized decision-making and collective synergies. Our business entities are autonomous, but held together with shared finance, IT infrastructure and support on acquisition processes, for example. Sustainability is another important aspect of our interaction.
Ependion's group-wide strategy is based on generating long-term value with a decentralized organization through strong entrepreneurship, shared finance, monitoring, and support, plus a proactive acquistion agenda.
Both business entities evolve their own strategies, albeit with a clear and common denominators: prioritizing profitable and expansive segments, thorough knowledge of customer needs and new technology, customer-focused product development, and the pursuit of premium positioning on the market.
Sustainability is a strategically important area driven by each business entity in line with our decentralized organizational model. In 2024, we will continue our implementation of the CSRD regulation and the development of our Group-wide sustainability agenda.
Group-wide strategies
Ependion has three group-wide strategies founded on decentralized decision-making, financial strength and a proactive M&A agenda.
Decentralised decision-making
Each business entity bears substantial accountability for its own operations. The best business decisions are taken close to the customer by managers and staff that are familiar with market needs and standards. The foundation is a process where goals, strategies and the business plan of each business entity are decided, monitored and adapted in dialogue with group management.
Financial strength
Organic growth is generated by focusing on developing new products at the leading edge of technology with high growth potential and effective sales processes centering on the customer. The parent company brings the experience of ongoing management through channels including finance and support on major investments.
Proactive M&A agenda
The group works proactively on screening various acquisition candidates, mainly enterprises with the potential to complement existing business entities by either bringing new technology, new know-how and new products, or expanding our presence in new geographies or adjacent segments.
