The global HMI (Human Machine Interface) market, in which Beijer Electronics operates, is expected to grow at an annual growth rate of 8 percent to reach 75 billion SEK by 2027. Panel- and PC-based HMI solutions account for more than 4/5, and the demand for software is expected to grow at a significantly faster rate than hardware during the period 2022-2027.
Growth is driven partly by the digitalization and connectivity of machines and processes - Industry 4.0 - and partly by increased automation and higher sustainability requirements. The re-establishment of industries in the West is also a driver for increased investments.
Beijer Electronics focuses on three areas where the company has a strong position with good profitability, satisfied customers, and a strong offering: marine applications, machine builders in the manufacturing industry, and applications for extreme environments.
